Although wood is naturally a particularly hygienic material (the tannin it contains kills bacteria) and we finish our products with an easy-care oil coating, it is still necessary to clean them properly after use. And the best way to do this is the same way your cutting board is made: by hand.

This oil is made from over 99% renewable raw materials and contains no desiccants or animal components. It is a solvent-free vegetable oil with a neutral odor, a clear natural color, and good lightfastness. The dry surface is dirt- and water-repellent and exhibits good chemical and mechanical resistance. Its excellent accentuation emphasizes the exclusive color depth and flames of the wood.
